Project Management and Planning

We are well-resourced to execute full Project Management and Planning, Project Structuring, Risk Management, H&S Management, Environmental Management and Quality Management.

 

Keeping disciplines in-house creates significant benefits across a project. Ballance engaged us early to redesign and re-engineer their Canopy Project to reduce installation risk and achieve a safer and more efficient outcome.

Plant Maintenance, Shutdowns and Overhauls

We provide highest quality plant maintenance on sites throughout NZ. With flexible resources, we’re set up for emergency response and planned works. Whether scheduled or unscheduled, we’ve earned a solid reputation for providing maintenance services that exceed expectations.

We were the lead installers of mechanical equipment for the Bay of Plenty Winstone Wallboards factory.

Plant Installation and Construction

We have significant experience as mechanical installers of process plants and factories. We can project manage the installation process all the way through to commissioning of the plant, as well as provide ongoing maintenance.

Specialist Steel Fabrication

Our highly qualified welders follow comprehensive procedures to ensure precision and consistency in all welding applications. We specialize in a range of welding techniques, including dual arc, stick, TIG, and MIG welding. These advanced methods enable us to achieve superior weld integrity, meeting the highest industry standards for strength, durability, and finish.

We have experienced and certified welders.

We have ASME IX, AS/NZS 1554 and ISO 9606 qualified welders and procedures.

We are certified tank fabricators

We are certified tank fabricatiors with experience building tanks from 500 litres to 350,000 litres

We are proficient with a variety of metals.

Proficient fabrication with carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminium and other exotic metals.

We have stainless steel welding expertise.

We work with a variety of high-quality materials to fabricate specialist metal products. Our expertise includes welding stainless steel and other specialty alloys, ensuring optimal performance and longevity for every project.

PropellWorks Resources

As part of PropellWorks, we have complete access to:

  • additional mechanical engineering services

  • abrasive blasting services and one of the country’s largest fully certified spray booths 

  • blasting and coating services for steel rectification

  • services for the application of floor coatings and concrete repairs

  • asbestos encapsulation

  • and the application of specialist coatings, including intumescent coatings, passive coatings, industrial coatings and structural coatings.

We have full access to the resources of our parent company, PropellWorks - including; engineering services, specialist labour, and further workshop capacity.
